Key Responsibilities

Lendorse is looking for a Legal Advisor to join our team and ensure compliance with banking law and related legal domains:

• You collaborate directly with our CEO to establish a strong legal framework that aligns with our business model and mission
• You actively participate in strategic decision-making processes and engaging with banking sector regulators
• You take ownership of our student Income Share Agreement contract, contributing to its commercial and legal development
• You provide highly-specialised legal advice mainly in the fields of banking law and corporate law, but also in the pertinent parts of closely connected legal fields such as tax and IT law, all including their international aspects
• You also provide advice on general private law questions, particularly in the fields of contract and consumer protection law, all including their international aspects

Qualifications

• You have successfully completed the 1st and 2nd State Examination in law - an LL.M is a bonus
• 3-4 years of work experience in the legal department of a private company, ideally in the fintech / banking / financial services sector
• Ability to distill & present complex legal information to stakeholders for decision making
• Language requirements: German (native speaker level) and also an excellent level of legal English
